Église Évangélique Ministerios Restauración ("we", "us", "our") operates restauracion.ca to share the message of the Gospel, support our congregation, and connect with our community. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or interact with our ministries, how we use it, and the choices you have. Information we collect
Contact form: When you send us a message we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), the subject you select (general inquiry, prayer request, volunteering, events, pastoral care, or other), and the content of your message. Donations: When you give online we use third-party providers (PayPal and Interac e-Transfer through your bank). They process your payment details directly; we do not store your card or bank information on our servers. We receive a confirmation that includes your name, email, the amount, and the giving fund you chose. Bible Studies area: This section is protected by a shared password. We do not create individual accounts, but our server logs the fact that a session was unlocked from your browser. Automatic information: Like most websites we automatically collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and the date and time of the visit. We may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your language preference and improve performance.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to respond to your messages and prayer requests, to provide pastoral care, to process and acknowledge donations, to share information about services, events, sermons, and bible studies when you ask for it, to operate and secure the website, and to comply with our legal obligations in Quebec and Canada.
Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with: (a) trusted service providers who help us run the site, such as our hosting provider, email delivery service, PayPal, and Google reCAPTCHA; (b) authorities or other parties when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our community; and (c) members of our pastoral team who need the information to follow up with you.
Third-party services
Our site embeds or links to third-party services including YouTube (sermon and live-stream playback), Google Maps (church location), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on the contact form), and PayPal (donations). These services have their own privacy policies and may collect information directly from your browser. We encourage you to review their policies.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to remember your language, keep the Bible Studies area unlocked during your visit, and measure site performance. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the site may not work as expected.
Data retention
We keep contact form messages and prayer requests for as long as we need them to follow up with you and for our internal records. Donation records are kept as required by Canadian tax law. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
Your rights

Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the Internet is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
